“We were a lot more mature than we were the last time we showed up here,” Weaver said.


“It’s only a matter of weeks, but the level of focus our guys have given to improvement, individual reflection, collective reflection and conversations around the fact that things go in, things don’t go in.

“It took us the first quarter to figure out how aggressive they were defensively and stopped just ramming ourselves in there recklessly, at which point the whole game opened up and you saw the results.

“There were stretches where the guys were just taking what was in front of them, making hard, aggressive decisions, driving the heck out of the ball, sharing it when help came and making open shots.”
